THE FUTURE OF WATER

Filtered by gravity. Purified by plants. Deeply researched Nature-based Solutions (NbS) designed to optimise and recycle water at its core. We turn pressing water scarcity into off-grid resource recovery using simple, elegant ecological systems.

Water security that nurtures urban growth. Modular, hand-assembled precast concrete elements designed for rapid, low-impact installation. The system integrates seamlessly into public and private spaces, shared school grounds, and private corporate environments—actively watering existing plant and tree roots, naturally cooling the air, and dynamically deterring vandals.

Design Flexibility: All modules are available in a selection of earthy colours and patterns to seamlessly match your site’s specific aesthetic.

1. The Rain-to-Root Bench

The flagship cornerstone of our landscape infrastructure that harvests rain, bridging high-capacity Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS) with functional seating. Engineered with built-in surface grooves that automatically guide rainwater straight into the root area, it holds an immense volume of soil capable of sustaining a medium-sized canopy tree while regulating gravity flow out to secondary elements. Available with an optional timber seat configuration.

  • Engineering Dimensions:
    • Volume: 295 L
    • Height: 400 mm
    • Plan Envelope: 2380 mm length × 980 mm width
  • Material Specification: Cast concrete module with integrated plumbing tracks and optional structural timber seating components.
  • Filtration & Water Mechanics: Multi-layered aggregate bed with biological root-layer pathways processing greywater or surface rainwater runoff, roof downpipes, and stormwater loops.
  • Vegetation Fit: High-performance medium-sized canopy trees, large shrubs, and phytoremediating flora.

Spine A & Spine B

The mechanical and structural purification center of our greywater recycling network. These sequential units are packed with layered filtration media for filtering and biological phytoremediation. It processes greywater using a highly controlled slow trickle—releasing just enough water for the root systems to naturally wick up without waterlogging the module or creating odour.

  • Technical Detail: Sheet A003 (HH-SPINE A & B FABRICATION DETAILS).
  • Engineering Dimensions (Per Module):
    • Volume: 250 L | Height: 900 mm |Plan Envelope: 1082 mm length × 588 mm width/module
  • System Layout: Requires a minimum of 6 sequential modules—each with a plan envelope of 1082 mm length × 588 mm width—to establish an effective filtration train, with all odours fully eliminated using effective micro-organisms.
  • Water Re-use & Yield: Safely recycles 50 litres of water per day for circular utility loops like flushing loos, watering gardens, and feeding pot plants; this output is strictly non-potable and not fit for human consumption.
  • Material Specification: Cast concrete module with integrated internal piping tracks and structural multi-module links.
  • Filtration & Water Mechanics: Multi-layered aggregate bed, specialised filtration media, and biological phytoremediation pathways processing localised greywater lines or closed structural loops.

Teardrop Pot & Teardrop Seat (C1 & C1+2)

Space-efficient social landscaping modules engineered to bring high-impact micro-climate cooling to tight footprints. The C1 Teardrop Pot acts as a targeted rainwater catchment node to feed specialised plantings, while the C1+2 Seat wraps perfectly around its base. It uses the intense thermal mass of damp soil and captured water to naturally cool the immediate air, creating comfortable outdoor places to pause.

  • Technical Drawing Reference: Sheet A004 (HH-TEARDROP MODULES FABRICATION DETAILS).
  • Engineering Dimensions:
    • Vol: 102 L | Height: 400 mm | Plan Envelope: 1380 mm length × 583 mm width
  • Material Specification: Space-efficient cast concrete modules with matching structural nesting seating, available with an optional timber seat configuration.
  • Filtration & Water Mechanics: Aggregate substrate bed with integrated soil thermal mass layers fed by targeted runoff or cascading train flow.

Kidney Shape Modules (E1, E1+2, E1+3, & E1+4)

An organic, interlocking utility suite built for maximum architectural adaptability along tight routes. This versatile series of modular units features flexible multi-point joints that curve and interlock to solve complex seating and drainage needs within irregular corporate pathways, tight public walkways, or active school play areas.

  • Technical Drawing Reference: Sheet A006 / A007 (HH-KIDNEY SHAPE MODULES FABRICATION DETAILS).
  • Engineering Dimensions (By Module Variant):
    • Vol: 68 L | Height: 450 mm/500 with seat| Plan Envelope: 940 mm length × 655 mm width
  • Material Specification: Interlocking organic cast concrete units with flexible multi-point joints and optional structural timber tops.
  • Filtration & Water Mechanics: Multi-layered soil and gravel aggregate beds catching direct precipitation or courtyard rainwater loops.

Plant-Pee-Pots / Phyto-Urinals (E1+3)

Highly pragmatic, unisex, off-grid biological waste-remediation units that function entirely without chemicals or water main connections. The unit utilises specialized, thoroughly researched plants that safely absorb and treat urine directly inside the container. The remaining purified liquid is filtered and released directly back into the gravity flow of the main harvesting train which waters a tree well effectively.

  • Technical Drawing Reference: Sheet A006 / A007 (HH-KIDNEY SHAPE MODULES – E1+3 SPECIFICATION).
  • Engineering Dimensions:
    • Volume: 68 L | Height: 900 mm | Plan Envelope: 940 mm length × 655 mm width
    • Internal Finish: Specially polished internal surface for the urinal collector zone
  • Material Specification: Heavy-duty cast concrete module featuring a urine-resistant interior lining and gravity-fed drain tracks.
  • Filtration & Water Mechanics: Specialised active micro-organisms and aggregate layer beds designed for targeted non-water-borne urinal intake and rapid odour reduction loops.
  • Vegetation Fit: High-performance nitrogen-tolerant, phytoremediating plant species.
  • Maintenance: Requires daily care standard for any ablution facility, utilising a natural biological solution to effectively break down odours.
